stories, given a world to live in.

reaz.studio is the creative practice of writer and artist Rea Kaur, finding the deeper story inside people, brands and ideas, then shaping it through words, images and creative direction.

sometimes I write the story.
sometimes I build the world around it.

My work sits where identity, diaspora, culture and lived experience meet.

I’m interested in the story underneath what is being made: the memory it carries, where it comes from, why it exists, and what someone should feel when they encounter it.

At the centre of my work is truth: how far a real feeling, experience or memory can be shaped without losing what made it real in the first place.

The form changes. The story comes first.

editorial stories

I find the deeper story inside a person, brand or idea and shape it into writing people can recognise themselves in.

editorial features · founder portraits · brand narratives · narrative interviews · cultural stories

for founders, writers, artists and identity-led brands with something real to say.

the story before the story. before I write the visible piece, I look for what sits underneath it: the memory, tension, intention or truth everything else can grow from.

some stories are written to be read. some are made to be kept.

story worlds

I take the deeper story inside a collection, label or idea and turn it into a creative world, through campaign narrative, concept, visual direction and image + word.

campaign narratives · creative concepts · fashion editorials · visual direction · image + word

made especially for independent fashion and creative labels that want to be remembered for more than what they sell.

  2. 02we find its language
  3. 03we build its world
  4. 04we bring it into form

some of these stories already have lives of their own.
